08 Summer Wrap Up
Ok, so I may have lied about a mountain to sea bike trip. Matter of fact, i did lie. It's not going to happen, but that's not to say that it will never happen. I've had to actually hold down a more than steady job this summer. That means 5 days off all summer including weekends. For a thru-hiker, that's a lot of hours. I have not been able to "get away" all summer, but next summer is a different story. Warpzilla, PCT, 2009. That's all there is too it. Any nudging/convincing bandanna that a 2009 PCT is a good idea is encouraged. Otherwise, I'mgoing solo. Mowgli, who you may recall from our AT pics in our VT/NH sections will be attempting a thru-hike. I am sorry to disappoint on the promises of a 2008 adventure, but its just not in the cards. I've began preparations ie gear lists, resupply schedules and a budget for the PCT next year. If this does not happen next summer, then you have every right to never read this blog again. I will be heading to Charlotte this coming Saturday, the 16th, and I will be balancing school and work in order to make the PCT happen next summer. If you or anyone you know lives in California, Oregon, or Washington State please let me know, and all help will be greatly appreciated. More updates are to come...

Mountains to Sea Trail Summer 2008
Although it is not an all summer trip like the Appalachian Trail, its better than nothing. That of course would be the 725 mile NC Bike Route 2 that travels from Murphy to Manteo. I am accounting for two weeks to bike across the state. I will be camping every night, details are still in the work, but the route can be seen in quasi-detail at

Walk With You
I have created a personal website as part of my resume, but I have also taken advantage to add more Appalachian Trail media. If you click on the link, then the video/slideshow entitled "Walk With You" is broken down state by state and you can see all of the pictures to music. The page may take a while to load, but if you're still checking the blog at this stage then I figured you won't mind. The website will eventually include some more writings as well as some of my architecture design work. Feel free to comment on the blog and thanks for still keeping up!
All for now,
Warpzilla
Walk Hard
Hey Everybody!
I just thought I might include a bit of everyday life/work on the blog and continue to do so. The link below is to a writing on my website that I just started up and am working on. The paper is entitled Walk Hard and I turned it in for my final paper in the "Architecture of Questionable Effects" course this past semester. The paper is based on walking as an important observational tool. I hope you enjoy!
